Literacy Groups

Students meet in a small group with a trained paraprofessional daily for 20 minutes to practice skills based on specific needs that have been identified through assessments. Examples of frequently-taught objectives include letter identification, letter sounds, sound blending, and comprehension strategies. Students are frequently monitored to determine the effectiveness of the intervention with changes made as needed.
